SnapSharer event galleries allow guests to share an unlimited number of photos & videos from your event via a QR code from any device, allowing you to crowdsource all the great memories from the occasion. Galleries are private albums that are bespoke to your event, and their simplicity means no account logins or signups are required from your guests. Media can be downloaded to any device in their original quality.
There are many great competitors, such as GuestPix, WedUploader, Wedibox and others. SnapSharer aims for simplicity without restrictions over those - a single package for unlimited guests & access, unlimited uploads of photos & videos, unlimited downloads, and a gallery live for a full 12 months / 1 year to enjoy the memories. We also don't force guests to signup or login to an account to add, view or download media from your event. Hosts can design their own QR code by adding a custom image to the middle and choosing its colour to suit the event
To create an account, purchase an event package through our Pricing page, then provide and verify your Email Address. Once verified, you can set your password, and create your event! Please check your Junk Folder if the verification email doesn't come through.
Our packages are essentially for the number of distinct media albums you require. So, if you buy a Single Album Package, that means you get one album. However many days your event spans over, all media will be added to that one album. If you'd like separate albums, each with their own QR codes and URLs to access, then you should purchase a multi-album option to suit your event(s).
Once you've purchased an event package, we'll send you an email immediately to activate your account. If you can't see the email, please check your Junk folder or the email address linked to your Apple/Google Pay account if you paid via either method. If you can't find the activation email, please contact us
Don't worry - your event album is only live from your event date, not the date you purchase. This means you can purchase now, even if you're event is far away! The 1 year album expiry period will only begin from your event date.
Your Bespoke QR Code
Your customised QR code gives anyone access to your event gallery, where guests can add, view & save pictures & videos in your gallery. Share the QR code with your guests, who can then scan the QR code with any device to visit your event gallery – they can view, share, download, and relive the celebration! Alternatively, you can share with guests the URL link to your gallery, which is another way for them to access it.
After setting up your event, click 'Download QR Code' to receive the QR code on a blank background. From here, you can print it on your invites, small cards to share at your event, or on posters, coasters, whatever you want! You can also share a link to your online gallery, which can be found on the gallery page.
Pictures must be square to ensure the QR code still functions for your guests. We recommend using this tool to crop your image so that it can be used when customising your QR code
No printing is included in our service. This is how we keep our pricing the best on the market, as not every customer requires printing. We suggest using a third party of your choice if you need anything printed.
Media Sharing & Downloading
Unlike our competitors, you and your guests can add their media to the gallery over the full 12 month period the gallery is active for. This is great for when guests find their own time to share their memories from the day
Most filetypes will work fine! Accepted image types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, tiff, tif. Accepted video types: mp4, avi, mov, wmv, flv, mkv, webm, m4v.
Unlike our competitors, we want you to collect all the great memories from your day, including videos. These can be any length but please see our fair usage policy in our T&Cs
You can download individual, selected, or the full gallery of photos/videos with options provided on the gallery page. To download individual items, please select the download button directly underneath the relevant photo/video. If using a mobile, you can also hold down on the photo/video and hit 'Save to Photos'. To download multiple pictures at the same time, you will be sent a ZIP file which you can save to your computer or mobile. This is to ensure no degradation of photo/video quality!
Your Event Gallery
Your gallery can be found by logging into your account, clicking 'My Events', and clicking into your event you setup
Guests can upload images & videos to the gallery, as well as download and save anyone's media. Guests cannot delete any media, including their own uploads. The host, as an admin user, can delete any media from the gallery, regardless of who uploaded it.
Photos and videos are shown in chronogical order via upload date & time, with the most recent shown at the top by default. However, users can order them by oldest/newest first too. There is also a filter for showing only photos or videos
All packages have an admin toggle called 'Disable public gallery'. When switched on, this makes the gallery private to the host only, meaning guests can add their photos & videos, but those guests won't be able to see the gallery's media. The host, and only the host, will be able to see, download & save all media. This toggle can be enabled in your event management portal under the Event Details section.
When you setup your gallery, you can add a custom event title, a description, a photo at the top, and the event date. You can also edit these by going into your gallery, clicking 'Manage Your Event', then clicking 'Manage your event details', where you can make changes in the admin portal.
Event content is hosted in your album for 12 months, starting from the date of your event. After this time, content will be moved to our cloud server, and is recoverable for up to 1 year (administrative charges apply). After this time, your event content will be permanently deleted.

Simply reach out to us first to see if we can support, otherwise we can cancel for you. Please note: this guarantee applies to event packages that have not been used for your event.
Even if the good times have already been had, our product can help collect event photos & videos. Set up your event as normal, share the QR code/link, and crowdsource all the great memories.
Yes! As long as the user has an internet connection, you can use this anywhere in the world to share & save memories. For adding new media, we recommend at least a 3G internet connection for faster upload speeds
